FOODS (EPISODE - 01)

Arindam: - Good morning viewers, from today onwards, “ROYAL BENGAL TIGER TV Channel (RBTV)” is going to broadcast in front of you a special program “FOODS” under the banner of “ArindamSain Production”. So, just follow me. We are now in a very famous hotel of Milan. Let us visit the kitchen.

Donioli: - Good morning Sir, and welcome to our 5-Star hotel.

Arindam: - So, today, what are you going to cook.

Donioli: - I will tell you later, the name of the food. Just let me cook it.

Arindam: - So, what are the ingredients, that you are going to take?

Donioli: - Very simple ingredients. Some dried mushrooms, 2 chopped onions, 1 bowl of rice, chopped chicken livers, 1 tomato paste, 4 tomatoes, 2 diced eggs, 2 pieces of bread, butter, salt and frying oil.

Arindam: - Well, is it a Chicken curry?

Donioli: - No, not at all, something different from that.

Arindam: - Ok, let us see. So, what is the first step?

Donioli: - Cut the mushrooms and keep it aside in a bowl of warm water. Just put some onions in saucepan, and keep on cooking for 2 minutes with the frying oil. Add the bowl of rice now. Then add some butter to it. Now, a mixture will be made. Keep it in separate bowl.

Arindam: - You kept that mixture there, then what about the other ingredients?

Donioli: - Fry the chicken liver in the saucepan. Add butter, chopped onions, tomatoes and mushrooms to it. Add the diced eggs and bread crumbs to it. Cook for 5 minutes. Now, a mixture is created.

Arindam: - You created two mixtures, one is of the rice, and another of the chicken liver, mushrooms, egg and bread crumbs. Now, what are you going to do?

Donioli: - Take the mixture of rice in your palm, and then flatten it just like Indian parathas. Now, take 1 spoon of the other mixture and paste it on the mixture of rice. Now, close your palm, and form a ball, as if you are making a samosa.

Arindam: - Oh!, you have made a ball if rice, and inside that, there is the mixture of chicken liver, egg and bread crumbs. Great, now are you going to fry this ball?

Donioli: - of course, yes, I will fry it to make a pakora, but of different style. Just keep on frying, until the color of the ball, becomes brown or golden color. Now, let me serve this with tomato sauce. Taste it, Sir…

Arindam: - Wow, the taste is different, I think you have made a Chicken Pakora, but in Roman style.

Donioli: - This is known as fried Romano Rice Balls…It is different…isn’t it so?

Arindam: - Thanks a lot Donioli, our time is up. Thanks for sharing this recipe with us. Viewers, see you again. Take care and Good Bye…
